no fancy tools, just raw vision.
One weekend a hurricane rolled through. I was stuck inside, so I decided to build a brand. Website, logo, marketing, messaging, products. I do this kind of stuff for fun. And because taking ideas from zero to real is what I’m best at.
Say hello to tellr, a brand built for storytelling. Created during that very long, hurricane-filled weekend using nothing but Mac’s Preview and Pages. Because, honestly, I have no idea how to use Adobe products.
it all started with an idea…
to create a clothing brand for storytellrs (see what I did there?).
first, I needed a logo…
but I’m not just slapping logos together. I’m architecting.
time to narrow it down…
I couldn’t decide—so I switched gears…
what about the brand’s look and feel?
I knew I was close, but not there yet.
time to focus on the brand’s purpose… stories worth telling.
stories that would pull on the audience’s heartstrings…
stories that would express humanity in its purest form.
now it was time to build something tangible…
because at tellr, you’re not just wearing another piece of fabric…
you’re wearing a story.
introducing…
and then I narrowed it down to this (see below) and called it a day.
PS: It’s a fully functional Squarespace website (not on Premium)—these are just screenshots.
now, just imagine what I could do with a team of graphic designers and the resources to create something amazing.
could that be with your brand? I sure hope so.
